The vision of the Bennington-Pownal-Williamstown Path is to create a safe, fun, and beautiful way to connect the Walloomsac Pathway in Bennington, VT to the Mohawk Trail Multi-Use Path in Williamstown, MA. 

In Bennington, the BPW Path will follow the rail bed of the historic trolley line that once connected Williamstown and Bennington. In Pownal, the BPW will follow the existing Western New England Greenway (WNEG) as we continue to seek out an alternate route on lower stress roads.
